well ive been feeding my fish frozen bloodworms recently ( about a month now) and noticed a jump in the growth of err staghorn like algae in my tank ? is there a direct relation between the bloodworms and algae ? you see i feed the fish the bloodworms but let it sit in water for a while (turns the water into a pale red) and then pour the whole thing in, water and worms. Is there a cause ? like the reddish water turning into a fertilizer type solution ?
