I used to clean my computer with compressed can of air. as the one below.

http://www.memorex.com/html/products_detai...10&opento=9

When i spray on my computer, the air kinda like freeze for a second or 2. i beleive this is CO2. not sure though. i just sent Memorex an email to confirm it. If its really CO2 maybe some interesting DIY could be make for a planted aquarium :) Considering the fact that

1. CO2 cylinder is harder to find.
2. CO2 cylinder is expensive.
3. This air duster is easier AND cheaper to experiment with - especially for begginners.
4. Maybe it's just me, but it seems to be much safer playing with that can than with a 5 pounds CO2 cylinder.

If it was co2 it would be heavy, and I Doubt it is co2. read the can.
Because co2 won't be that cheap.

And it says on the bottle
Non-ozone depleting
Co2 is z ozone depleter

I got the MSDS from Memorex Tech Support, the can contains CO2 but it's not PURE CO2, it contains various other chemicals as well. So it's a No No.

Any compressed gas that is released from a can will be cold, even freeze and gas cools as it expands.

Nice idea thou :)

Sam, what about Co2 cartrigde for paintball or bicycle wheel, are they pure co2?

yes they are you can use them. The one for paintball is used very often

Yeh indeed, not a very big cylinder thou, thats the only down side.

CO2 is a greenhouse gas, not an Ozone depleter, the stuff your probably thinking of are CFCs or ChloroFluoroCarbons
