Air Stone

i ve got a 130 litre tank with sand in with live plants,i am going to buy a tetra tec 100 air pump to day good idea? and i was wondering if i could hide the air stone under my sand? and where do i place my air pump my friend said put in a vavle so it doesnt return the water and put the air pump higher than the water the level but i seen people having it under the fish tank stand what do i do

as long as you have non-return valves, under the tank will be fine.

Dont know about burying it under sand but you could always mount an air curtain on suckers just above the sand level

would a Aqua Vital Flexible Airstone not work better air curtains dont look that good

hi m8. i got that same curtain and it looks great once i hid most of it behind plants decor etc and it looks great. nice fine airstream. fish love it as they swim and dance about in the bubbles.

i have another question sorry lol, what is the best air pump btw i was thinking off getting the terta tech 100 is that any good and is there any better air pumps than that and would the terta power this

TetraTec are the best IMO. There the ones that make the least noice
