from what i gather its a personal preference, some like them some dont, personally i do and have 2 in my tank both attached to ornaments

im the opposite in my main tank i only use two internals firing over the water surface.

However when storing water for water changes i leave an airpump, mini internal filter and heater in the container.

I have one but slightly paranoid over using it, as the tubing pops off the connectors far too easily and often!

Tubing is quite cheap my local store sells it at about 50 p a meter

Just trim the pipe back a little so that it's not all stretched out

No, sorry my comment was in response to the person who's airline keeps popping off their airstone. If they trim a little bt off where it connects to the airstone they should have a tighter fit :)

Alm0stAwesome, I have been doing that but it still slides off the valve and the attachments *sad face*. Not sure what else I can do....any ideas?

No sorry I don't have any other ideas other than could your airline be the wrong size :/

:dunno:
