Air Pump Help

Hiya all

Well about 2 days ago i bought a new tank (other person left me down)

well its a Fluvan 125 litre tank, Length 31 ich, Width 14 inch, height 18 inch

im just starting so looking at getting all equipment now then start my fishless cycle

so im looking for a air pump for my tank, im looking at running about 3 small 3 inch air stones, what pump do i need, i am looking on ebay and there are a lot on there but its all new 2 me so im completely lost.

Please could some 1 give me a name model, or even ebay number for a good 1, im on a bid off a tight budget at the momeny but got £35 to spend,

please be gentle im new to all fish and aint got much off a idea as yet, but read all about fishless cycling

You don't need an airpump. (I assume you are thinking aeration?) A bit of surface movement or displacement provides the water for oxygen. But that's not saying you can't have an air pump. It just isn't completly necissary.]

i am just looking at getting 1 as i fancy having some bubbles in the tank, can u recommend one on ebay, makes, model, Litres per hour (preferable)

just to run 3 small 3 inch air stones

I don't think that air pumps are measured in Liters per hours. Could be wrong, but I've never really messed around with them. Since your tank is 125 L, I would get one that has two air outlets. On one of the outlets, you could put a splitter, so then you would be able to run 3 airstones.

Sorry, not much help in hardware. All I'm really concerned about in my tank is that I have sufficent lighting and that I have a filter that filters appropiately.

2 floresent lights
150w fluval heater + 300w as back up
fluval 3plus filter

I would get an Eheim Air Pump 3704!

They use a cool little diffuser instead of an air stone.
