Perhaps I was rash. I figured it was probably popular British opinion. So much of the rest of the world just loved America until we started kicking national butt....now we're monsters...even though we still basically support the rest of the world with EVERYTHING that we have and work our butts off for every single day.

I get tired of the "lazy" and "ignorant" vibe thrown around about us. Maybe we should just let the old Empire go and let Britain take back over and let YOU sort out the bloody mess? You don't want it, and you know it.

It is true that an average American family produce far more carbon than any other countries 'standard family'. Fair enough you are not all the same, and no, britain ain't perfect either, but atleast our kids are being educated on what we need to do to help our planet survive a little longer.

I could say so many mean things back to you for that. The whole subject of this thread is that things are too hot for you to keep your fish in reasonable living conditions. That's not America's fault, its yours. Its your country, fix it.

America have recently tried to build an aluminium melting plant in Iceland, because your CO emissions are too hgh already! Take up other's CO emission allowances is your way forward is it?

I can pretty much garuantee that Britain, and most of Europe, as a whole, are doing much more these days to prevent global warming. However, your government still seems intent on cheaper oil???

The decisions made by your 'leading government' to aid the victims of hurricane katrina were absolutely awful. All the emergency aid that was local was not evacuated before hand, if it had, thousands more lives could have been saved.

This isn't a battle of countries, it's a battle of opinions.
