Aequidens Tetramerus

just went to a garden center and stumbled accross an Aequidens tetramerus for sale. stunning fish that was about 6 inches or so. so tempted to bring it home but didnt dare risk it with Keith after the GT experience in the other tank.....

just wondered if any one has one or kept one in the past

I have not kept one, read up on them before, they are concidered a aggressive cichlid maxing around 10inchs..

the one i saw seemed very well tempered. it was in with same size and smaller fish with no issues, even fru and juvis from a breeding pair of africans.....

ive left it there as i dont want to chance it with Keith.

Fish in LFS are never behaving how they do once they are in your tank lol. Especially cichlids. With Keiths recent shenanigans i think you made the best choice
