Can African Dwarf Frogs use a bubbler for air? My tank is 18 inches high. They get to the top no problem, but not without a lot of swimming. So i was thinking of putting a bubbler in to allow them to breathe closer to the bottom. And if that doesnt work i was thinking of of putting the bubbler under the tree stump where the frogs hang out, to catch the air at the top.

Would any of this be useful to the frogs, or would they not care and go to the top anyways?

I guess you mean that they will get air from the bubbles that are floating to the surface? I don't think that it would work or that they will use it.
18 inch (45cm) isn't that high is it? I can imagine that in their natural habitat, they have to swim even further.
