ADF Sheading?

My ADF seems to be sheading his skin.. but i'm not really sure.. One of his front hands is almost immbile and is covered with this slimey looking white stuff. There has also been some of this stuff floating around the tank. There is a lil bit of it on his back too. Is he just sheading his skin or is it some ickky disease?

They shed.

My male ate his skin when he did that.

Yep, he's just shedding. It does look a little strange, but it's normal.

just be lucky it isnt a red clawed crab, when they shed it looks like a real crab... my funny story was i went out on the drink, came in saw crab belly up poked it with algea scrapper, looked dead, started to cry then all of a sudden mr crab comes out of nowhere clickin away all alive... needless to say never drinkin again...
