I have a 30 Gal (36 x 12 x 18) tank, it is a planted tank, not fully planted but I'm getting there.
I have a single Aqueon Full spectrum T5 bulb in currently. It's kept the plants growing, and when I had a white substrate it kept the tank nice and bright. But I wanted black substrate, and since I changed over I've found that the light just isn't bright enough to really make the tank look great
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how I could make the tank brighter? It only has a single light hookup in the hood so I get the feeling that if I don't make this a do-it-myself project then it's going to involve buying a new hood.
Does anyone have any suggestions on submersible lighting? Or any suggestions on hoods they have that have multiple bulb hookups so I could add another light?
Thanks
