Good news, i am swapping the crabbro with the borleyi, some should be coming in sometime this evening, but they usually acclimatise them, i might take them back tommorow

Everything running ok, i got a spray bar for the eheim and i tested the water the otherday after 5 days of them being in:

Nitrate - 40ppm
nitrite - 0.1ppm
ammonia - 0
ph - 8
kh - 150
gh - 300

Glad to hear they'll take it back. Wow, you may want to hold off on adding more fish until your nitrites get under control. Let your filter process it first and after a few weeks of steady 0's for ammonia and nitrite add a few more

they wont be going in until after next week anyway, i am going away and never add fish bfore i go away.

1 male crabbro died/ got killed by the other male while i was away, i didnt have time before i went away, thinking bout it, i might get today. Its hard not driving, and it is 10mins by car, i have to work it around my parents jobs. At least i'm off for the next 4weeks, plenty of time to get things sorted

EDIT: Forgot to say i tested the water just incase, everything ok, unsure on nitrate as i have ran out of it but not that harmfull anyway, my neighbour who keeps check also thought that he was being attacked.

by other male, did you mean another crabro male? That was just a matter of time if that was the case b/c the territories not big enough. sorry to hear about the loss that's always tough.

i took the crabbro back yesterday and then i got some more fish today, i got:

3 x copadichromis borleyi
2 x aulounocara jacobfreibergi
2 x astatotilapia latsfciata (already had these)

The crabbro i took back is now bullying the ohers in the tank, the only trouble is there is no more tank space They have seperated one already that someone brought in the otherday (that one killed 2)

i dont know what to get next, my choices are:

pseudotropheus scolofi
labridichromis cearuleas

could i have both specie, just one specie or none? How many should i get?

I would get 4 labs and then you're pretty well stocked

i am glad oyu said that, although i think i prefer the scolofi, i have some blue in there already

i dont know what sex borleyi i have as they are too young but he said i can swap them in the future
