I'm thinking about adding some shrimp to the tank soon.
Sparkling gourami are a predator to shrimp so I want the shrimp to be well settled in before adding the fish.

Some chili rasboras or pygmy corydoras would look really nice in there. The tank is beautifully planted, btw.

Remember to add the entire intended number of any species that is shoaling/schooling or intended in a group like the pygmy gourami. Shoaling/schooling fish always settle in faster the more there are so this can avoid problems like ich. And fish like the gourami are territorial (males) so the entire group can avoid problems here.
