A turtle

Anyone ever thought about have a turtle in there tank like with a floating island

We have a turtle but it is fully aquatic so does not require a basking spot. You have to be pretty careful mixing turtles with fish as they can eat the fish and also a lot of turtles require specialist environments that may not be compatible with the fish requirements. Do a lot of research before you think of adding a turtle to your aquarium is my advice.

I agree. Fish is a large part of the diet for most aquatic or semi-aquatic turtles. I have a cousin who has basically turned half of her living room into an environment for her turtle. She has kept it successfully for many years now
