I kept them in a 8/9Gal, they are pretty small, maybe 30-35litres, they dont swim much tbh

I've been told they do better in groups though. I think you're supposed to have 3? not sure but mine seemed happier when he got buddies. They are also both REALLY picky about food. Mine refuses anything but frozen food
