Minstrel, the 1200 will fit perfectly inside your 200 cabinet. I have the Vicenza 180 and it fits perfectly.

You should be able to email them and ask for advice on how to get one. Don't understand why they wouldn't as it's a pretty big market to be missing out on!

Would that be okay to take it out? I suppose that the EX1200 is a better filter regardless? How long should I give it to cycle being that I have one already cycled?

You could remove the sponges from the Fluval 4 and put them inside the 1200 (towards the bottom). You could then remove the filter straight away. More space the better.

You wouldn't do. There is no way you could do.

When you get it remember to open it first and unbag all of the media and rinse the ceramic media and carbon in old tank water as it can be a bit dusty. Cram the sponges from the Fluval in the bottom tray and voila... you are good to go.

Since I will be using it straight away by adding mature media?

I would use tank water. I also removed the carbon from mine.

Since I will be using it straight away by adding mature media?

Interesting point would it be better to put some treated tap water into a bucket and wash it this way?
