how do determine the gender of my chinese alge eater if this is in the wrong place could someone plaese move it and tell me where you put it

Ok. Males are easy to tell when they are ready to spawn, as they will develop what looks like ich or pimples on their nose and face. If I remember correctly they have to be about 4" before they are mature.
