I am thinking of getting rid of my krib and wanting to replace them with the largest fish possible for my size tank and some ditherfish. Also would be an advangtage if they were easy to breed and not to aggresive.

I was thinking along the lines of Tbar cichlids.. is that a good idea?
Any other ideas for me would be much appreciated!

Tank dimension are 101L x 46H x 31W cm

Thankyou!

Well Sajicas are like convicts when it comes to breeding so you will not have a problem there, however like convicts they will become very protective of eggs and fry so you will need to pick tankmates carefully.

You could try something like a pair of sajicas, 5 Giant Danios and an Ancistrus

Honduran Red points or Rainbow cichlids would be suitable alternatives

I'm guessing somewhere between £3.50 and £5.50 for a juvi, they're something i've not seen on our listings for quite a while, but then again anything that isn't "bog standard" is pretty hard to get around here

yeah Tbars are very nice and a good choice, i wouldn't go any bigger. Personally firemouths are my favourite in that size range.
Blue acaras are nice though the males are a little bigger than the above species.
A pair of breeding blue eyed cichlids also show very nice contrasting colours.
There are lots more eg. the good ol' convict or salvini though these are more aggro when breeding.

Make sure your dithers are not too small. Large tetras, swordtails etc, i actually use tiger barbs for their color and activity which not everyone may agree with but they work well for me.

I have a pair of sajica and they are one of my favorites. The breed very easily but their spawn size does seem smaller than convicts (not really a bad thing). They are defensive when they have young, but not crazy like convicts and I love the blue eyes!
