A Huge Shoal Project

Having Kept many of tyhe fish listed so far.

I would say that the Micro Rasboras are amazing in a Huge Shoal.
I have around 30-40 of them in the 5*3*2 and they look amazing when together.
Also Small Rainbows look very Very Good.
I Have Gertrudes and Forktails and they have made lots of Little Groups in different parts of the tank.

If you want to order loads why not try Maidenhead Aquatics or Trimar(Monty Is Excellent and always does a Good Deal).

I have 15 Red Line Torpedo barbs, and TBH I think I will stick with Smaller fish and Smaller Cichlids.

I have Added 30 Mixed Dwarf Cichlids and they Look Great. As Well as a Hareem of Rams.
Lots of Guppies/Endlers for Extra Color

I would stear away from larger fish.
At the End of the Day go with what you want to Look best.

I am going to be adding Some Crabs for Diversity and Cleaners (Vultures of the Tank)

Nice choice on the Microrasbora

I'd love to see a large group of Rhomb barbs (Puntius Rhomboocellatus):

I would go for glowlight tetras. In the planted tank forum there was John Starkey who had 180 cardinals in his tank.
lots of ideas :D but can you point me in the direction of a picture of this id be very curious to see, give me inspiration

Unfortunately his journal ended, and I just noticed he removed all the pictures from Photobucket, so you can only read his text, no more pics!

Hey,

Great idea on the tank matey. I am guessing you have already decided on the Rasbora after reading the thread. I just wanted to point out a company to you that are selling a lot of tetras and other fish at almost cost price. I cant remember there name at this point but they sell there fish on ebay. I am sure they are called "zoological" or something. The name definately starts with zoo. Now i purchased 25 cardinals and 25 rummy nose tetras from them for the grand price of £30. They charge £10 for postage and packaging on most orders and there was a few extra thrown in aswell. I would check them out if i was you. I still havent lost a fish from them yet. I have seen them advertising neons, cardinals, rummy nose tetras, black neons, green neons as well as many other forms or kinds of tetra. They may also be able to order you in some rasbora if thats what you are after and there prices will shock you.

I could dig out there phone number if you are interested. PM me if you are.

Good luck and make sure you get pics on here!!!
