awww mate those geos are stunning! Are they Surinimensis? I really like the Nandus as well, how are they getting on in the community? There are some at my maidenhead quite like them are they from SA?

!!! been waiting for the pics of the nandus for ages! haha they are looking good mate, i really miss them but im happy knowing they have a good home! love them, they will look brilliant when they reach full size at about 8"!!
love the geo's too!

wills, the nandus are south east asian, and are brilliant fish to have and watch, sometimes difficult to feed, but can be trained to take lots of different foods, they will reach about 8" and will try and eat anything up to about 2/3 their own size.
i have a funny feeling they are male and female dave, everywhere i look it says they are very difficult to sex but males will have slightly darker patterning, which if i remember correctly one does!
anyway they look brilliant mate, as do all the rest of your fish!

Dave

Thanks Guys, yeah finally got my new Canon 500D so thought I'd test it out,

It is indeed a Surinamensis Wills, I have just the one as it came in with an order of Brasiliensis and was getting bullied so I brought it home, The Nandus are doing well, one is feeding slightly better than they other but no real problems, Its just a little fussier on foods,

Yeah Dave I agree they seem to be M/F, I've noticed the Male tends to have quite strong dark colours when it is away from the female but when they are together they both go much paler, not sure what that means but they certainly act like a pair.

Some lovely looking fish there!

Any chance of a full tank shot?

lovely pics thanks for sharing

I love the blue botia woud like to keep those next time I have a tank set up for that kind of fish

i like the botia, i had my 3 up for sale here for ages but i gave them to my cousin when i sold him my juwel tank, they are noisy and very boisterous, they chase each other and made a clicking noise!

yeah dave there was always one of the nandus that ate more than the other! strange, you'd of thought they'd copy each other really, ah well as long as they eat enough and stay healthy its all good!

Great pics :)

Obviously I love the Severum, beautiful  and the G.Suri is lovely too :D

Wish I could find an albino Senegal!
