Hey Cichlid fans, I was just wondering if a 98 litre tank would be too small for tanganyika cichlid?

I'm not entirely sure which type of tanganyika cichlid as of yet.

The dimensions are:

27.5" Long
14" Wide
18.5" Tall

So could somebody clarify if it'd be too small or not, also if it's a good size point me in the right direction and guide me lol, new to the cichlid world.

Thanks

[This size of tank should be ok if you stick to the smaller species such as juldochromis or small lamprologus species. I have bred Julidochromis Regani & (neo)Lamprologus Elongatus (not at the same time)in a 36x18x12 community tank. I have also bred Neolamprologus in much smaller tanks. However, if you are new to cichlids, you should read up or talk with experienced keepers to gain some insight of the needs - they can be very territorial & aggressive I have had breeding pairs turn on each other when the tank has been disturbed. Tanganyikan cichlids can be very rewarding, but please do some research beforehand to avoid any mishaps.

Neolamprologus Multifasciatus and Julidochromis Dickfeldi
OR
Lamprologus Ocellatus and Lamprologus Lelupi and Lamprologus Caudopunctatus (when I suggest these three together I only mean 1 or 2 of each(lelupi / cudopunctatus) :good:
But as Bazza57 suggests do some research on these guys, the rrsults can be very rewarding, google be thy friend :good:
