681 Litre...........

.......so got a price on a brand new 6x2x2, tank only. Being as the price was cheap as for new (gotta love mates rates lol), pretty sure i will get one made to go outside and replace the 2x2x2 (to be sold)
 
I think i will use Besser Blocks to make the tank stand, with a top board that the foam, then tank, will sit on top of.
 
Will probably put a pond filter on the tank
 
Now the tank builder is busy so it wont be an immediate arrival (he will deliver the new 5ft at the same time), but thats ok. Most of the goldies will go back into the pond until its here.

I'm a bit excited myself.....cant wait to see the goldies in it too. Will probably be unfiltered (with plants) for a little bit, while i get a decent pond filter for it
 
Size isnt really what matter tech and Gville lol I am only going this size for the goldies.....normally i prefer tank around 350litres

The base board for the tank should be here sometime this week all going well.
 
I have nearly half the besser blocks i need, will pick some more up this week. Once they are all here they will be painted black
 
The tank hasnt started being built as yet, i told them i am not in a hurry for it, my priority at present is getting the stand ready, so they'll build it as they get time, and them deliver it (and the 5ft) when they can

Now that i lost the goldies i am debating using this tank to house native fish from around the area. That way in winter i will not need to heat it. The tank, if i do choose to go that way will be heavily planted

Started building the stand today....i'm gonna need around another 15 blocks to finish it off. I decided not to paint the blocks, just left them grey (its called impatience lol)
