went for a male betta (my dad old one which i loved the red one!) with 20 wee endlers was that too much ? what you guys think my dad wants some for his tank so if it to much i could give him some ?

Is that a mixed sex group of Endlers? Regardless, give your dad 14 of them, leaving you six males or six females. What is it with a lot recent posters treating ~60l tanks like a tardis? Tanks of this size and volume need a small carfeully selected stocking, the water quality can go to "critical" in a flash.

it is over filtered and gets a water change twice a week at at 20% each time that what i was recommended by my lfs hmmm...

Two 20% water changes would far from cut it long term, even if the bacteria kept on top of ammonia and nitrite, the nitrate levels would go through the roof! Not to mention about population explosions if it is a mixed sex group. I have seven (7) 4cm Persian Killifish (Aphanius mento "Zengen") in a 54l, I would not consider anything less than a 150l tank for 20 Endlers.

Good old LFS recommendation... Did this purchase happen to sell all their old stock?

hmmm... ok will take your word and give my dad half sure and no they just got them in today thats why i got them
