Hello,

i broke down my old tropical tank ( ive been keeping tropicals since i was 3! ) and ive started to set it up as a marine.

i only started at the beginning of this week

my filter is a HOB 600lph by all pond solutions

my light unit is a 3 x 14W 2ft boyu light ( cheap ) it only has 1 bulb in it as the other 2 bulbs broke in transport

i am using caribsea fiji pink live sand

Ordered some live rock, should be arriving on friday i ordered 10Kg but i will probably use some in my pico that im about to set up i wont stack it too much because cant that kill off some of the bacteria when it looses flow to that area ? so all my rock will be carefully placed

Yes Stanley good flow in/around your LR is vital.

It is one of the most important, but under-discussed topics in reef keeping IMHO.

My live rock left newhaven at 9.30 for delivery, so im hoping that it will arrive very soon it should be arriving today, but im meant to be at my girlfriends prom at 6 so... all my hopes are on this next half our, an hour at the most

it didnt arrive, and the company who are delivering have said that they are leaving it in the van until monday, Helen (from simply seahorses where i got the rock) is rather annoyed i think too because she asked for next day corrier delivery and it was supposed to arrive today so she has contacted them but on my parcel tracher it sayd this :

yeah i know, im quite worried for it, would have been cool to see what hitch hikers i would have got, no chance of them now is there so, yeah, but on the up side, if there apatasia, it would probably be dead, no ?
