the dimensions are 48 x 24 x 12.right now i have 2 female kribs,2 clown loaches,a pair of swordtails,2 dwarf gouramis, and a senegal bichir.i'm getting rid of the bichir and adding 2 more clowns.what else could i add?my tank looks really empty and pales in comparison to my 30 gal.

5/6 tiger barbs.....(always adds life) 4 x Albino Rio tetras (for contrast in colour)..2 x Congo tets.(to fill the middle to top section) 2 Dwarf Otocinclus (Affinus)... (to take care of the green stuff)..1 redfin shark (for something else) and 2 Hatchets just for kicks.... wow!! why did'nt I think of all those when I stocked??

could i really add that many fish?although now that i think about it a shoal would look nice in there.but i am also partial to loaches.

Hey... 48" is 4ft.... there's a lot of space in there.... Loaches are nice, but hardly ever seen... They hide... I've got this spare 4ft empty in the back yard, and since mentioning that combo, I now know what to do with it....

glad we could help each other out ludwig.by the way, love the sig, reminds me how cute my choc gourami is.i guess i should just do a lot more research.

Oh yes!!... Now I remember.... you'e the dude that answered my first plea for Chocs..... Hey!....I'm still in the same predicament.

i wish i could help and i'm still in the same predicament as well.i'm still waiting for another one.it's been over 4 months now.but back to the matter at hand.i've had different types of tetras.scissortails, and platys and after a while they bored me so i guess i should just go to the fish store, look around, write some stuff down, research them, and then ask you guys some more questions!
