6 Tank Household!

That is some collection of tanks. The Black angel looks great, as does the Oscar!

I really like the dwarf cockatoo's, i have a trio in my tank. At least i hope i do, my male and one of the females died off recently after a bout of white spot. The replacements are only juvies, and are only starting to get their colour. I think i have a male and a female, but sometimes i'm not sure!

Can I just suggest one thing? On your stacked tanks, I think you should get a peice of wood with beech effect on, and just get some sort of clips and stick it between the two tanks, it would look much better. As personally I don't really like the look of black and beech together, I think it looks quite, well, wrong...
Regards,

Neal

PS - I've just read that you've took them down, oh well keep it in mind incase you ever put them back up.

ha ha yeah we don't have them anymore, and they definately won't be going back up!! We were always planning on switching the hoods anyway, making it all pretty.

:)

Thanks :D

Yeah they're awesome, 'big daddy' is really starting to show his adult colours now and he's looking gorgeous 8) so chuffed with them. can't wait for them all to grow up. I've got 5, think there's 2 m and 3 f

You managed to get your cockatoo's to breed? Out of all the fish i've kept so far it's the one i'm most interested in.

My platy's are about to start by themselves, but they don't need any help :D .

nah they're all still juvi's so not bred yet. not really interested in breeding tbh, i just leave it up to nature if anyone does start. got enough bloody fish as it is without being overrun with fry too!!

Wow, thats my idea of heaven, but hubby is too scared of hard work, so I get to have 3 tanks and no more. LOL.

I love the way you little tv is kinda stuck in the middle of it all, it looks to out of place!! It's unusual - and refreshing to not see a TV be the focal point of the room.

ha ha thing is the telly aint even that little, not massive but it's not like 14" or anythign tiny like that, tansk are just big!

we've half joked about getting rid of the telly so many times, we never bloody watch it so what's the point having it taking up valuable fish tank room.... we could have a 6x2x2 if we didn't have it

the living room is designed so Ian's fav spot on the sofa is right next to his angel tank, and I can see straight at my big tank and the marine tank. :D

Need to do some more pics soon, these are really old!!

I love the fact that there's fish food on the mantle over the fireplace!!!!!!!!

(my house is like that with bicycle parts -- grease next to the toothpaste :hey: )

oh yeah, in theory it all lives in teh fishy cupboards, but it's bloody everywhere, there's dechlor next to the bath, a whole shelf of food in the bedroom and most of the mantelpiece is taken up with fish food.

we've just bought a new stand for the 4 footer upstairs though and that's got loads of storage, you never know we might actually use it
