Now they are just sooooo classy

I hope you're not on a water meter!

lovely isn't it, we're planning on changing it to marine when we move, Oscar and his pals will be getting a 6x2x2 and then Ian wants to play with corals

Are those 30g tanks 4 feet long?

yup they are

LOL, uh is your tv smaller than your tanks?

indeed it is, quite a lot smaller in fact! we never get a chance to watch it to be honest

thanks, we actually managed to clean and water change all bar 1 of them on sat, didn't take us all that long, 3/4 hrs maybe. Our plans are another 5g hex for my side of the bed to match Ian's, either a female betta or a dwarf puffer, then another 30g 4 foot quaratine/hospital tank which is gonna live in the cellar as it's not exactly gonna be decorative. Then next yr when we move depending on how much space we have we might close down the two 30g's get a 6x2x2 for oscar and pals and make the trigon 350 marine. Oh and also if we have room we'll want a pond.

don't think that could work with cats somehow!

that's an apistogramma cacatuoides, or dwarf cockatoo cichlid. He's still a juvi (well in that pic, he's actually starting to get adult colours now) when he's fully grown he'll look something like this

thanks, we've changed everything around a bit now, the community tank's been upgraded to a 4 footer, I've got a betta too in his own tank, we've closed down the two stacked tanks and got a marine tank in it's place :good: we did go up to 8 tanks at one point but back down to 6 now.

cool set of tanks mate. i saw a tank with what looked like a parrot and an oscar?? can that be done??? i would of thought the oscar would gobble him up....??

lovely tanks :D

and nice... uurm... tidy house

I see someone likes terry Pratchett :hey:

ha ha yeah that was just after we'd moved Ian's tank in, the house was absolute chaos, not that bad normally.... honest :hey:

yup that'd be Ian, he's the sci-fi and fantasy geek :)

and yup got a parrot and Oscar in there together, they're the best of friends. Put them in together as babies so they've grown up together so they're cool with each other. Anything with an Oscar is always risky but mine's pretty docile so he's OK with company, always best to work out exactly what you want and get them all as juvi's at the same time so they grow up together.

Can I just suggest one thing? On your stacked tanks, I think you should get a peice of wood with beech effect on, and just get some sort of clips and stick it between the two tanks, it would look much better. As personally I don't really like the look of black and beech together, I think it looks quite, well, wrong...
Regards,

Neal

PS - I've just read that you've took them down, oh well keep it in mind incase you ever put them back up.
