I would like to add these fish to my 55gal tank.  What are your thoughts ?

4 panda cory
6 harlequin rasbora
5 black skirt tetra
5 cardinal tetra
5 Boesemans rainbowfish
6 espei rasbora

I would say you're being a bit ambitious with the shoalers.

They will look better and behave more naturally in larger numbers. You're at the bare minimum for all of them; don't forget that these fish live in groups of hundreds, even thousands in the wild.

I would pick one shoal, or two at the most, of whichever you like the best and have more of them.

You'd also be better having more panda cories. They're quite small, you could easily have ten.

I agree with fluttermoth, Lots of different shoaling fish just look messy.
For the best community tanks you should look to occupy all levels of the tank. Not only will this make the tank look great but it also lessens competition for food and space.
given that I'd go with something along theses lines:
-8 Silver Hatchetfish (to occupy surface)
-12 cardinal tetras (midwater fish)
- 2 angelfish (great centrepiece fish!)
-12 Panda cories (occupy bottom of tank)
-2 Farlowella (for something a bit more unusual)

You could probably swap the cardinals for rasboras if you wanted but I think its better to stick to fish from one geographical region (south America in this case)

Or you could go Asian with something like;

8 Boesemani rainbows
a pair or trio of pearl gouramis
9 or so zebra loach
