I decided to expand my 29g planted into a 55g wide (36x18x20, so less length but a slightly larger overall footprint then a standard 55). Mostly swords (amazon, ruffled and compactia), with some anachris and brazilian pennywort, plenty of driftwood (more verticle then horizontal with space under) and planning a little rockwork as well.

My planned stock list right now looks like:
8 Greenfire tetras (aka Rathburns Bloodfins, a close relation to Bloodfins)
8 Cardinal tetra's
2 Clown Plecos
6 Sterba Cories
2 Blue rams
1 Angel (and pray he's a friendly guy and not a hungry one)

Filtration still to be determined, but will probably be an eheim 2217 with possibly a 2213 on it as well if i don't keep it on the 29. I do a weekly water change and gravel vac, and have pressurized CO2 with plenty of plant growth.

Based on all that, do I have room for anything else? Either adding more tetra's to the schools or another dwarf pleco (bristlenose maybe) ?

i don't recommend adding more tetras because proberly the 'angel' is going to eat the 'tetras' that you have.
for a tank that size, a canister is most better.
good luck! :good:
