Hello! i recently picked up an older model 55 gallon O'dell off of facebook, and when i went to leak test it, the whole seam on one corner is completely shot.
How should i go about repairing this, IE what type of sealant should I use? I am fairly capable as far as fixing things, so just looking for a direction to go!

Hello and welcome to the forum! :hi:

Will you please upload a photo of the tank corner? Do you mean the silicone popped off? That is normal for an old tank. It pretty simple to re-silicone a tank. (Depending on the damage dealt...)

Most fish stores sell sealant.id start there. I read of others that have used other commercial sealants but not sure which ones

I'm not sure how well you can see it here, but the whole back panel has separated

I have a similar 55 gallon tank I bought around 1995-96 and I used dow corning aquarium sealant on IT but any non-toxic sealer would probably work.

Would 100% silicone gorilla caulk be fine or would that be toxic?
