Have a 55 G with:
3 pictus
1 male krib
6 tiger barbs
1 flying fox

Before saying the pictus will outgrow the tank, they are very small and I am ready and willing to trade them in when they get too big...upgrading probably won't be an option, I don't really have the space, unfortunately

No problems right now - plenty of hiding spots.

Possibly more tiger barbs to complete the school here? Would rose-line sharks get beaten up by the flying fox? I know FF's fight with similar looking fish, didnt know if rose-lines are that similar to them.

Is there a colorful small schooling fish that wouldn't hit the bioload too hard but not get eaten by the pictus? Or just more tigers. I have 30-40% weekly water changes, aquaclear 70 and emperor 280 hang on filters.

I'd just get more tigers, honestly. There are very few other species of fish that won't get pestered by those guys.

I'd go for more tigers too. If you want a variety of colours, get some green/gold albino ones; they'll all shoal together. I wouldn't recommend roseline barbs; they grow pretty big, neeed to be in a fairly large shoal and need a lot of swimming room.

Sorry to hijack the thread but could I keep a shoal of tiger barbs in with cons?
