I would say the tiger barbs may nip at the angel's fins, they are very nippy little fish, the long tendril fins of the angels might look tasty to them just my opinion though.

Forget the tiger barbs what about the puffer fish

Those little chaps will strip the fins off the angels once they settle.......

I'd say no because dwarf puffers might have a go at the angel fish and so might the tiger barbs. Then again, you managed to twist the rule that says dwarf puffers should be kept in a species only tank, so you might get lucky again if you're willing to take the risk.

I say, dont do it and make sure you'll always have a suitable empty tank for the puffers when/if they decide to turn nasty anyway

I agree. Those little devils will devastate anything with long fins. I highly advise against it.
