380l Community Tank

Well i've diapointed myself now, the tank has been neglected over the last couple of months and its looking terrible!

First the co2 ran out, turns out my reg was broke and the bottle would just empty over night so i stopped that, then one of my lights broke and havnt replaced that also didnt do a water change for a couple of weeks/months

Lost quite alot of my fish, including my L018 which i loved :( so now im doing something about it.

Just doing small water changes for now and cutting away the dead plants. Anyways heres my shopping list for next month:

New light unit(s)
2 new heaters (the one has broke and im guessing the next one aint far off)
Koralia 1 pump to improve water flow
Easy Carbo (to kill off my BBA)
New plants (some are doing fantasic like my crypts and java fern)
Dry ferts (got some here but not enough to last a month of ei dosing)
co2 reg
fire extinguisher refill

Then should see the tank turn around again and have happier fish :good:

may also invest in a home made python, im sure i bought all the bits except the tubing but i cant bloody find them!

Sorry to hear about your recent problems, you might consider buying a Python (drain and fill system) or making your own <a href="http://www.fishforums.net/content/Hardware-Do-It-Yourself/105769/DIY-Python/" target="_blank">http://www.fishforums.net/content/Hardware...769/DIY-Python/</a>. I wouldn't have any large tanks without one, they make life so much simpler, not to mention saving your back.

Lovely tank by the way. :good:

yeah i was looking around for one but can't fins them anywhere :(
