Very nice looking tank, had a great illusion of front to back depth!

looks really good!

have you at all done photos of this as you were setting up? If so would you start a journal in the planted section for this tank?

Yeah, I have photos from the start of the tank. I'll resize them & start a journal. Thanks for the kind words everyone :)

Look forward to seeing a journal of the setup. Has the scape already been taken down, or is it still running? I like the balance of the rocks and the HC path is in the right place. If I had a teeny quibble, it would have been to slope more substrate towards the back to expand the depth perception front to back, because you had a really cool idea with the larger Pogostemon in front and the smaller plants to the back, but then it just abruptly ends. But this is a teeny, tiny little thing. Beautiful tank. I can't even get P. helferi to grow. It's like me and java moss and cabomba, just doesn't happen, no matter the setup.

incredible, natural and very pleasing to the eye

I will get onto the journal, probably tomorrow now. Yes, the tank is still set up. The photo was taken 4 days ago. The helferi is actually an optical illusion. They are all large plants, all pretty much equal in size. It's just the way i've layered them out that gives you that impression. I know what you mean about it just stopping though. I had never thought of it like that but that's the beauty of scaping..everyone see's things differently. It's still developing as a scape, it was only planted on Sept 1. Thanks for the nice input. It's always nice to know what others think & I will definitely do that journal for you :good:
