#29 Iaplc Tank This Year

slope away and forget about 'anaerobic pockets' if you are planting into the substrate. Roots are tubes of oxygen that pump both ways negating this problem :)

I agree partly Ian without the waterfall the impact is lost but simple plants or not. This acape has such incredible perspective that it just jumps at you from the page.

People ahould note I am very quick to put down scapes with twisty wood and chintzy waterfalls etc to the point I belittle them as 'model train scenery' quite openly!!! Not the case with this one. It has something that just makes me wanna look and look and..........ermm look. lol

Also remember yes the waterfall adds to the impact, possibly adds most of the impact and yes it is in and then out either side of the photography but that is what these competitions are about. Growing your scape ready for that one moment in time. So if the scaper adds something at that one moment in time it is likely that has planned and accounted for well in advance. Doesn't matter what the before and after impact is without the filter floss :)

Looks just like some pictures I took in NYC. At the zoo. I'll upload and post them here tomorrow.

Very cool scape. Very realistic. I also like that it is somewhat dirty looking.
