i was talking about your larger tank..you said you were getting a 2ft tank.
but still have a look around, if you do a fishless cycle then this will give you some time decide on what to get.

of course if you are really set on bettas then it always depends on that particular fish, some might go well with others, some dont.

Oh yes sorry that is my small tank

I already have my 2ft, just need a new filter and bulb then I can get it going... but money is low as I am a student still

But yes, I will be doing the fishless cycle in the 2ft when I get the required equipment so I have time to decide on which fish to choose.

Definitely want that shoal of 12+ Neon's though. that would look amazing

Yes i agree that a large group of neons look great!
i wish i had a big tank, i cant though since i live in dorms at school

just take your time and the many people on here will help you along the way and help you decide on some fish maybe. but remember that the final decision is left up to you and your resources.

Yeah I understand about taking time...

Never would have thought it would be this difficult setting up a tank for the first time... but I have /am enjoying the experience so far!

As for space... I have my own flat so I can have as many tanks as I can afford
(I think that may turn out to be a bad thing though Cause I will never stop )

Already have my eyes on a nice new tank... £400 though. Student loan maybe haha
