25L Tank With An Air Filter

I have a Sicce Moby Dick 25L aquarium that has not been used for a while, I am planning on using it to raise my Bristlenose Plec babies,

Will a TetraTec APS150 air pump powering a Algarde Bioflow air filter be enough filtration?

Or would I be better to keep the babies in the breding box in my current aquarium?

How often would you reccomend I change the water if I do set up a 25L baby tank?

That filter should be fine. I ren one from Pets At Home which was about a fiver and it has done a remarkably good job! Very impressed. It's a nice cheap solution for filtering a small tank.

I would do at least a 50% water change every week, plec's are notoriously messy and you will need to be feeding pretty often to ensure good growth. Good water quality will also help them grow fast.

Cool, well I do have an AquaEl Fan 1 but thought this would be too powerfull.

Probably so. I have my air driven filter running with a small aqua one filter at the moment. I also used the air driven one when i divided my tank whilst some fish were breeding. No problems at all. Only thing i found was that the filters are a tad noisy if the tank is open topped.
