21G Akysis Tank

Well i mangeded to get a great deal on 4 Akysis prashadi and 1 Akysis longifilis its was £4 for the lot so i set up a coldwater tank for them.
The stocking is
4 Akysis prashadi
1 Akysis longifilis
4 Golden Panchax (1 male 3 females)

But im thinking about getting another 1 or 2 longifilis.

Heres the tank Its not great because it was just from bits i had laying around but does the job

Cheers mate. Not sure there will be much else going on with this tank any time soon though it was more of a little side project while im waiting to get the 150G set up but i do plan on getting a couple more of the cats while they still have about 6 left.

Cheers. Its not really a floating plant its just a clump of elodea that i havent planted just to give the panchax some cover at the surface but thank anyway :]

I got 1 more Akysis prashadi and 2 more Akysis longifilis today so altogether i have 5 Akysis prashadi and 3 Akysis longifilis. I know 8 might be pushing my luck a little but since this might be the only chance i have to get some for a good price i thought i would go for it and i can always sell them on if it doesnt work out. I might try and get a pair of badis not sure what type yet but just to bring more colour and movement to the tank.

Wrll ive got 5 harlequin rasbora that ive been trying to sell for a while but cant so i decided to give them a try in this tank. Im not sure how they will get on temps wise but thought i would give them a go and if theres any problems ill put them back in the 21G they came from.

There in a 21G now because the 15G started leaking this morning so i gave all the fish in the 21G to my lfs and put them in there. Ill get some pics once the sand settles but its almost exactly the same. I found another fluval 3 plus in the garage aswell so it now has a how one and just the top powerhead of on which means i should have 1400LPH.

Well ive just had to remove 7 harlequin rasboras because the panchax took a disliking to them killed one and battered the rest. And the rasboras where fully grown and the panchax re only about 2" including tail so im going to have to choose tankmates carefully. Any ideas? I might up the number of panchax but not sure what else will work.

Im now down to 6 Akysis but have a few other fish in with them now aswell.

5 young Badis badis
6 Harlequin rasbora
3 Synodontis nigriventris

The Synos i decided to try in there yesterday because the 30G there in is getting broken down and they cant go in the 150G but i really like the so decided to try and guess what within 24 hours of going in there they have spawned. I only managed to save 2 eggs because i only walked in near the end and the Badis and Garra where eating them quicker than i could pick them up. As far as i know they have only spawned in a tank once so hopefully the eggs will hatch.
