My 3 sterbi cories areswimiming in the mid to top levls of the water  Is there something wrong there is no visible problem

And a wcmm tried to eat a piece of food that ws to big and now 12 hours lator it is still stuck haning out its gill

the cory behaviour is normal, they come from murky water where oxygen is scarce, they have adpated to take the water from the surface and swallow it and it is absorbed in the intestines

I would carefully take the WCMM out of the tank, take a eye brow plucker or a plier and gently try to remove the piece of food, that's really bizzare, i have never heard of that happening before. The cory's are fine.
