I know for a single oscar you need atleast 55 gallons. So 2=110 Gallons?? \

I have a 90US G. Can 2 oscars live therE? :shout:

not IMO, IMO the min you need is 75g for one, so 150gal for two

remember also that two oscars does not make a pair, and two unpaired oscars together makes a bloodbath eventually.

get a large group of juvi's, wait for two to pair off then re-home the rest. even then you run the risk of them deciding they don't like each other at some point and tearing strips off each other.

personally in a 90 (depending on suitable dimensions) I'd have 1 Oscar and a nice group of dithers and some catfish/plecs..... and one hell of a filter.

A tank with a footprint of around 5ftX 18inches would do for 2 oscars and some tank mates, Oscars can be aggressive to these own SP. but as far as Cichlids go they are tame.

A 150G is not the minimum tank size for to Oscars, a 150 is a good size tank for them :good:

A tank like the rio 400L would be good for 2 oscars, that is around 90G but "IMP" Gallons,
400L in US g's is 105G

It really a hard question to give a straight answer too. Miss Wiggle is exactly correct that two do not necessarily make a pair so problems can occur when putting just any two together. Bolty is also right though that they are tame as far as cichlids go. They are more of a gentle giant than anything. But they are still cichlids so precautions need to be taken to ensure the health and happiness of the fish. I would say a 75 is min for one, and depending on whether you have a pair or two inidividual the tank sizes range quite a bit. A 90 would be good for a pair, but for two individuals, I would go with Miss wiggle and say atleast 125G if not 150 is neccessary to stem aggression and give both fish plenty of tank space to claim as their territory. All of this of course depends on the natural temperment of the fish. You may get one of the meanest SOB's anyone has ever seen and you might even need more than 150 or may not even be able to have another O with it, whil you may find two very easy going fish that can be fine in a 90G. Get to know your fish and you will know right away what will be best for them. Good Luck :good:

You've already receives your answer but wanted to say that in many cases a 90g is the same size as a 75g tank except it's 4" taller, which doesn't do anything for most cichlids.

lol, yeah completely depends on the fish, some will be aggressive and become very large, say 14-15' inches and will need at least a 125gal for two if anything, others will be smaller 10-12' and less territorial and you could probably get away with a 75 gal.
Try it and see what happens but be prepared to upgrade or part with one, if you could sell the 90gal for a descent price and get a 120gal+ that would be great.I sold an 80gal and bought a 270 gal for less!
