The fun begins.... To put it simply, two of the glowlight tetras were dead this morning. Water params fine (0 ammonia, 0 nitrite etc.). These two looked a bit sickly anyway, but I'd rather find out what they had and treat the whole tank than end up with all the fish dead. They lookes 'white' before they died. Not all over, mainly in the stomach area. Also hanging around the bottom a bit. Out of the 4 that are left, two are hangging near the surface (but, they could be looking for food. Theres still some around), and their gills look a bit red. However, they are glowlights and I'm most likely to be hyperchondriac-ing. The other fish seem fine. Oh, and the last two glowlights seem fine.

I'm not sure, but it could be NTD. Another one looks to have whatever it is, I gave him a quick salt bath and he seems to have perked up a bit. But who knows... I'm not going to replace them, they'll have to live in a group of 3 or 4. I'll get danios instead... Or Cardinals.

Does the white on the body look fluffy or just pale, does it run up to the dorsal fin, red gills and heavy breathing and flicking and rubbing on objects, can be gill flukes.

Just pale, yes rapid breathing, looks like red gills, no rubbing. Oh dear, sounds like gill flukes, doesn't it? If they survive the night then I'll get meds tomorrow, for now, anything I can do? I can't add salt to the tank as I have cories, but I can possibly move the fish. However, only one or so as I only have a 1g spare, and its not heated.

Best to treat the whole tank with parasites, only thing is to turn temp up,you can add a small amount of salt with corys i have, just a teaspoon while you get the med, good luck, don't add salt if you have plecs.

That article is good, on gill flukes, i would get the med quickly, good luck.

Another one's died, at least I know what it is. The 3 left seem to be the biggest/strongest out of them all, so they should be fine until I've got the meds. I'm now hoping the cories and betta don't have them, but they seem fine ATM.

OK, what meds? Interpret doesn't do anything specific. Thats pretty much all thats available. I gave them another salt bath, and i'll get some more salt as well so they can have one tomorrow. So anyways, what to get?
