Yer, our situation in reversed. It's th eneons that don't sell too well.

Where do you work Dao? Sorry OP, a little off topic, but hey Tis interesting to know what trends are like elsewhere.

I think I'll make some enquiries at my LFS and see what they have to say re; cardinals. I'll also find out what their PH is and if they 'fiddle' with it at all.

I'll ask one of the owners though rather than the knuckle dragger I spoke to yesterday who could only manage to grunt at me.

Incidentally, would it help if I used RO water in some of my water changes to bring the PH down? Or is that just making more work for myself.

RO would work to create a lower but stable pH. It is often more trouble than worth though. RO would be needed at all or none of your waterchanges.
