[Jacob the tank keeper]

This is the start of a new tank, well, not so new. in fact, it's one of my first tanks. My third tank (out of 11)
I'll try to update this at least every week or if I do anything new

Did a complete redo of my older tanks

July 11, 2023:
This was what I originally made, but... It was a little empty for me, and I'm planning that maybe this will be a sorority, so more wood and floaters!!!

July 12, 2023:
There, I think the tank's looking better. more wood, more floaters for the bettas to hide! Also, I think I forgot to mention the tank size. it's a 24 x 12 x 14. Also, messenger keeps ruining the pictures so I'll add better ones later on my pho

June 12, 2023:
Later that evening, It cleared up so I took another pic (Ignore the airline tubing, I honestly forgot what I was doing)

June 17, 2023:
Floaters have started to propagate, and the tannins have started to act up! already liking how it looks. I wonder if the plants will be okay from the tannins... (Foreshadowing)

I also probably should've mentioned the plants I used in this tank, it's quite a long list though so buckle up!

Schismatoglottis Prietoi - I'm very proud of this plant as it's new to science, and luckily, endemic to where I live!

There's also some random plants in here in small amounts that I won't add to prevent making the list any longer

June 25, 2023:
I removed some driftwood and gave the tank a 60% water change to stop the tannins from going overboard

I also added more floaters to the tank and removed some hornwort and guppy grass.

 June 27, 2023:
 This is the tank as of today, more floater growth

  This is a Walstad-inspired tank with an organic dirt substrate like most my tanks.
