Very interesting idea :D

If i were you, i would try some plants which looks more like tree.

which one is the right candidate? mmm, i have to think about it

maybe some Xmas on very twig?

WOW! What an awesome tank and such an awesome idea! Wish I had come across this thread before I started getting stuff for my 10gal. Would've loved to try my hand at aquascaping it like you're doing! such a spiff idea!
If you're not, you should be making money off of this! I bet some uppity country club would love the idea of having a golfcourse aquarium scaped tank in their place! heh

A infinitely better way to spend a weekend than the far overated dinner and a movie.

llj :good:

Hee-hee! I have to agree with you on that one! Fiddling with the tank (and perhaps, sipping a little wine, too) is much better than going out for a movie. :)

Very cool tank, BTW. I look forward to seeing an updated pic!

i saw a scape where they'd got red moor wood where it's all branchy and narly and had tied some sort of moss to it, was very effective :good:

how did u tie the carpet down?
i have a large area of slate i want to cover and tieing it all to one big peice of slate will just not work to much cotton!
after its stetled can u remove the cotton or will it just float away?

ha ha that doesn't suck, think it's coming on great........ it's just like the start of spring though not quite full summer, cos the plants haven't spread out quite yet ;)

good work :good:

Think its coming along really nicely FK, OK is its a bit slow but it'll look cool once it is finished :)
