Bebobb
You can't get like me
Thanks.
I know i really should mention this in my other post but it's to do with the 2ft tank aswell.
I also rescued a friends male betta before i got the guppies and had to do a fish-in cycle with that betta because i had to put it in the small 2.77 gal tank for a couple of days till my 2ft warmed up. The betta i rescued off her was a male veil tail betta and it had 7 diseases! It died after 2-3 weeksWould i have been better leaving it in the 2.77 gal at room temperature or was it a good thing to put it in the 2ft and fish-in cycle it? I did treat it for these 7 diseases:
-White spot,
-Mouth rot,
-Fin/tail rot,
-Fungus,
-Gill flukes,
-Body flukes,
-Internal parasites.
She had kept it in these conditions:
A small 1 gal bowl with a fast flow filter, 1 plant and 1 ornament. She did a fish-in cycle without doing water changes, she DID NOT read anything about them before getting the fish. She got the tank, ornament, plant and fish on the same day then she set it up and put the fish in.
I was very shocked when she told me. To say the least i wanted to get the fish straight from her house and put it in my 2ft tank there and then but i had guppies at the time.
