Any ideas on what could be done to improve the looks of the tanks? I just started some live plants in the tanks besides the 120 gallon. Any ideas for more majesty?! I'd love to hear any and all input. Enjoy!
Any pictures of your ideas would be splendid!

Lovely looking tanks!

The top one I can't really help you with as I'm not familiar with the fish and their needs as in what they are like with live plants (tearing up and eating or pulling them out of substrate etc..)

Your betta tank however is looking great, but your betta may appreciate some wide leaved plants such as anubia attached to some bog wood to rest on. Or any wide leaved plant. Amazon sword maybe?

Is that moss attached to the wood? If so, keep it well trimmed as I have heard bettas can sometimes become entangled within it and drown.

You have done a good job though, they are very pleasing to the eye :)

Thank you shelster for your reply. My lfs didn't have any of the thick stemmed broad leafed plants that they usually do, so I will check again in a week when they get in more stock. I have added plants that will eventually grow for him to rest on and have moved things around to block the flow in his tank. I see him stop and rest briefly and I notice no current is moving him out of placd but he's always on the go fluttering about the tank. He also seems to prefer the filter side. ..which I thought to be weird. I love that betta he is great and so is my boyfriend who got him and his whole habitat for me!

I will post an update of the betta tank probably tomorrow but here is an updated pic of the 29 gallon neon planted tank. Any and all suggestions are still welcome!

Is the tank viewed from both sides? If not, how about a black backing? It will really make the neons stand out :D

I second that idea. Other than that, it looks great.
