not that clear, could the fish be ripping them off in strands?
If I'm not mistaken, that's a spider plant --- a non aquatic plant. It looks like it's starting to rot

hi the plant is called chlorophytum becketii, a lot of aquarium websites and shops sell them so i think it is an aquatic plant.
please let me know if you know otherwise.
thank you
Nope. Still not an aquarium plant. They're mostly used for terrariums-half-land/half-water type of tanks, that's why a lot of people mistake them as true aquatic plants. They're not, though.
Do you mean Cryptocoryne beckettii?
I`ve just bought one of these, please tell me its not going to die
ok thanks for your help. sorry i forgot the slash in the website. click on plants and it is on the first page. cheersI`ve just bought one of these, please tell me its not going to die
It probably is. Its not an aquatic plant. As for what can you use instead of that, I'd recommend jungle val. Easy to grow, and looks good too!
And the reason I said Cryptocoryne becketii is beacause I thought the topic starter got mixed up or something, because I've never heard of Chlorophytum becketii before.
Also, I can't seem to find www.aquaticplantation.co.uk...
