Think I may well have hit my first problem, white spot.
Now I've noticed small grain like spots on a few fish probably every 1/5 has one or two spots.
I am best off treating the whole tank or removing the poorly fish?
I assume the OP is referring to the goldfish waste becomming food for her catfish as many believe catfish as bottom feeders eat all the crap from the bottom. Wherever these goldfish end up I just hope you manage them correctly and ensure a better quality of life for all your fish!
Wildbetta, I did not find your post to be one of the problematic ones here, you clearly showed what was wrong and provided some facts about the fish so she can choose to better herself. I did not write my previous post in hope you would all cower down and apologise but more to offer a hand out...
Sat with my fingers crossed when I read the title hoping that honda would be a huge honduran milksnake, you didn't disappoint one bit! Such a beauty! You got a recent photo for us? And how old is Honda now?
Wasn't going to involve myself with this post but a do believe you have become rather malicious with responses towards the lady who created this thread. I am by no means a mod on this site but they're are much better ways to get your point across. Until humans can effectively talk to fish all we...
Gonna repeat what's been said above, patience is key! But a juvenile ruby shark could work short term in a 26G if placid and hiding places are available. I would personally wait for the bigger tank but if for reasons its better for you to get the shark now and the tank in august they're wouldn't...
I also have a ruby shark who is lovely, doesn't bother with the tetra nor any other fish in the tank. I would just watch them in the lfs and specifically choose the shark you want! You may get a few grumbles about them all looking the same but if one shark is bullying the other fish you wouldn't...
Thankyou Eagles for understanding the help I needed!
Yesterday these fish were in buckets so I've had to do something, fortunately its very similar to what you have said above only the penguins and the NT are in the 80L with the male fighter and the females and BNT are in the 40.
The said lady...
Ruby sharks are more peaceful but you are looking at a potential foot long shark (though more commonly 6-9 inch) and i do think that would give rise to some issues later on. They tend to thrive in 55G+ though could be kept very carefully in a 30G.
As for the red tail black shark roughly a...
Eventually is fine, as i plan to go bigger and better once funds allow and in the mean time a few smaller set ups can be purchased once i'm able to work again. But until then i have to make do with what i've got.
I didn't post this to be lectured, I have kept fish for years and i do know what...
No some lady was missold a load of fish and Mum decided that 'my big tank' would be enough room for some. And on top of that my 4th tank decided it would break! :'(
There is no chance i can buy a new tank right now. I need something that will work for now. Until i have the opportunity to give...
Right, Mother see's my new tank and decides she'll save the world. I NEED some way of getting these fish into 3 tanks.

Tank 2: 80L
Tank 3: 40L
I have all of the following fish!
11 zebra danio
6 leopard danio
