I'm getting ready to hopefully soon add some corals and anenomes to my tank. When buying corals and anenomes should I quarantine them like I would a fish? Or do u just dip them in a solution before adding to the display tank? If I do need to put them in a quarantine tank does that mean I need to...
Looks like brooklynella. But still not 100 percent sure as I must of caught this early. Just bought a 5 gallon bucket that I'm going to put my CUC in. I also bought the instant ocean treatment and tonight I'm going to start trying to pick the CUC out. I'm going to mix some fresh clean salt water...
Hard to get a picture but I noticed now there is like three little white strings coming out by his head. Is this a parasite? Can I treat the whole tank? I don't have an extra tank to treat him separate because of the rules here at my condo.
I found this instant ocean lifeguard treatment that...
I noticed yesterday one of my clown fish hanging around a rock towards the bottom of the tank. I didn't think nothing of it, but today he's still hanging out at the bottom and his color is fading. My water parameters are great, and everyone else in the tank is doing well. He will come up for...
I just added 4 new fish, 3, 4 striped damsels and 1 bi-color dottyback. I added them at 4pm, my lights turn for the night at 10pm. How long should I keep the lights off when adding new fish? I read so many different times from various websites. I usually do 1 hour off but I would like to hear...
I was wondering what would be the biggest fish I can put in a 40g tank. I only have 2 clownfish and 4 damsels at the moment and I'm planning on doing corals and anemones pretty soon. What size fish
would be suitable for my tank?
Thanks for everything tcamos and donya your info really helped me out. I'll just let mr. Worm be, I'm sure there's probably many more creatures lurking at night. Thx again!!
Had a snail die, crabs were feasting and mr. Worm came out to take a bite. Should I get rid of him? And how should I go about removing him? I went too grab some stuff and not even 2 minutes later he was gone. Going to be really hard to catch this little booger. If I could leave him I would but I...
I haven't got a picture yet but it looks something really, really close to this.
I haven't seen its whole body yet but I'm guessing it could be around 4-5 inches long. It won't completely come out it just sticks an inch or so out of the live rock then goes right back in.
Doesn't look like that one trying to get a picture but really hard. Looks like a centipede as it has a lot of legs and looks like it's actually longer, maybe 6 inches.
Looked at some pictures looks like a Eunice worm. Scary....

I was just looking at my tank and saw a 3-4 inch long centipede looking creature hiding in my live rock. I have had my tank for about a year now and this is the first time seeing it. Couldn't get a picture as it's hiding within the rock. Looks just like a centipede, is this good or bad? Need...
