It will rot in your tank, it's not an aquatic plant but actually a Dracaena sp. it is commonly sold but this one and the red/green variety would be more at home in soil on your windowsill.
I'd take it back if you can as it won't last and will pollute your tank.
The branches are a bloody nightmare to get past!!! The worst are the far left one and the far right which sticks out the water a bit! Causes no end of annoyance!
Moss seem to be doing well, which is unusual for me as I seem to kill moss!! Fingers crossed it doesn't die!
Thanks guys :-)
Not grown in too much, but thought I would update with a FTS and a few pics of my angels which I got a couple of weeks ago! Also a couple of other residents! Fish photography still leaves much to be desired!
I got this at my local shop (though a very big and famous fishkeeper chain! It's redmoor root, and is £19.99 a kilo. But it's really light when dried so this wasn't too expensive. It's been tied/glued together too :-)
Also, for Daize, here is a video with the LED's, they can be one colour solidly (7 choices) or flash between them, or merge into them (as shown). Some colours look better than others though!

Well it's about time I got this up and running. It's been planned for a few weeks after spotting an amazing tank on an aquascaping website. Most of the plants are reused from my old tank and the wood is redmoor root which gives great shapes.
I'm hoping to use the height to give angelfish a...
I have been away for a while it's true! I am currently rescaping the tank and will be back with a new journal! I had a bit of a planting disaster so it's not looking it's best at the mo!
Onwards and upwards eh? :)
Hi! Thanks for your post. I have a Fluval 405 which has an underwater outflow angled pipe (about mid level on the lefthand side which pushes water out forwards aimed about 45o) and an Eheim 2217 with spray bar (at water level on right hand side pushing from back to front of tank). I also have...
