play problem

hi, about 2 days ago i bought 2 plays from my LFS, one male one female.
when i got home today i noticed the male was in the corner on the bottom of my tank. hes not moving too much
does anybody know why this may be happening and how to stop it?

how long have you had your tank going? Sometimes when fish are added to a tank they get timid. Does this fish eat? or swim around sometimes? Are his gills moving very quickly or is he shimmying(is that a word) in one place? The answers will help those here give you a better answer. Keep us posted

thanks for the reply, ive had my tank going for about 5 months now. Yes he ate this morning but when i got home from school i fed them and he just sat down at the bottom. He's still there moving from one corner to the other. his gills seem to be going fine, but im worried.

hi, i woke up this morning looked in my tank and he had died im still worried about what happened to him. I'm going to see if my LFS will take him back for credit because i had only had him for 3 days

im sorry to hear that u should stick with the females. they're hardier.
